Set your Apache Server for
 ArcMap Geodatabase (MS_Access)

ArcMap Geodatabase Review (viewed in Access)                                                        Note:  the Field names

Configure ODBC Connection (for Apache & MS_Access DBase)
10 minutes or less to SetUp

• Download Zip  and Extract to c:\wamp\www\asp_arcmap\
  
  ----->  
  • 1) WindowsXP Start Button > Control Panel > Performance & Maintenance > Administrative Tools
    • download a  odbc manager if you do not have access to administrative
  • 2) Select Data Sources (ODBC)
  • 3) Select System DSN Tab
  • 4) Select Add Button
  • 5) Highlight Microsoft Access Driver(*.mdb)
  • 6) Click Finish Button
    • 7) Data Source Name = arcmap (See: $cnx = odbc_connect in the php script example below)
    • 8) Database Select Button
    • 9) Browse to  c:\wamp\www\asp_arcmap\
    • 10) Select file arcmap.mdb
    • 11) Ok Button
    • 12) Click OK Button on the Last Screen to Save arcmap odbc system dsn connection
      • if you want to make changes
      • at Step 4: Highlight System DataSource Name & Select Configure Button
        • Select Advanced Button to create user/password

To View in Google Earth:

• Open Google Earth > Add Pulldown Menu > Create Network Link
• Link = http://localhost/asp_arcmap/odbc_cities.php3
• or odbc_states.php3

To View in Google Maps

• http://localhost/asp_arcmap/ge_index.php
• or odbc_states_gmaps.php or odbc_gmaps.php
  • open the .php files with wordpad to view their structure
